Frank & Nancy stopped in at our shop and told us they are interested in a gate. After looking around the shop, and seeing the projects we had going on, they decided they wanted the branches. So we built the gate, and branches. The branches are heating red hot, then drawn down from big to small with a texture to make it look like a branch. The leaves are plasma cut out, and then we press veins into the leaves to give it the real leaf feel. After the veins are in the leaves, we will then heat the leaves up and bend them some to “Shape” them to make them look not perfectly flat. We give them a little bend or two to make the leaf look real. The finish is a copper vein powder coat, followed by a UV protectant clear coat. Such a fun project. Doing the inside steps next, then back outside to do the porch. Great people to work for!
