Stacy called us to paint her front door. Now normally we dont do that kind of work, but she was so sweet and such a great person to work with, we decided to help her out and paint her front door. While doing so, she was thinking about having us build her some porch railings. We finalized a design, and this is the final product. We incorporated some spindles to match the front door, and finished it with a flat black powder coat. These railings are super heavy! They each weigh around 275 pounds. The posts are 3″ square, and the flat bars are 2″ wide by 1/2″ solid. The scrolls and spindles are all 1/2″ solid steel.
